Lamborghini Countach - Poster
Print of the most iconic Lamborghini ever!
If you had to pick one car with the wedged design from the 70s and 80s, this would be the Lamborghini Countach, without a question. In terms of sheer presence, nothing come close to this vintage car.
Worldwide shipping, because classic cars lover are everywhere. (and you are a vintage car lover, aren't you?)
An incredible amount of power, hard to control, wrapped in a body made of sharp lines. The party piece? That massive wing in the back, so unnecessary and yet so necessary at the same time to complete such an outrageous design.
The real mother of today’s Lamborghini and modern supercars was the Countach. It’s thanks to its layout (longitudinal center engine) and the inboard gearbox (between the seats) that Paolo Stanzani, the engineer responsible for this model, defined the technical figure that would have distinguished all the Lamborghini V12 to come.
Countach was introduced in 1971 and her career ended almost twenty years later, in 1990. The Countach was imperfect and disruptive, fast and delicate to hold in your hands.
Still today it has incredible, but the legend of the supercar of Sant'Agata Bolognese all plans and edges that, at the dawn of the seventies, was preparing to collect the witness of Miura, coincides with an exclamation in Piemontese dialect uttered by a Bertone lock clerk in one of the endless nights of work on the prototype: "Countach!"
It literally means plague or contagion but in reality it is used as an expression of wonder or even admiration, as "perbacco!". And the Countach is already legend.
With the Countach Ferruccio Lamborghini raises the stakes. Since the mid-1960s, the Lamborghinis have been the favourite cars of celebrities, they have been the object of the international jet set’s desire in terms of cars and make even those who cannot afford them dream.
Countach conquers the limelight and upsets the car world with its breathtaking shapes.
It’s a car that looks like it landed from another planet!
